Wishing Star by Katie M, age 11, Des Moines, Iowa RandomKid needs volunteers!

In addition to needing help for our Random Kids, the RandomKid nonprofit organization desperately needs some adult volunteer expertise:

  • Web designer--preferably with ecommerce experience, we need help with our store!
  • Accountant-- Someone with nonprofit experience -- either to help us with one project, or on-going, perhaps in a board member capacity.
  • Retail /  Product Fulfillment expertise
  • We also need board members and adult volunteers with specific experience --people committed to helping kids help others.  Specifically we'd love to find people with one or more of the following areas of expertise:  Nonprofit alliances / partnerships, grant writing, non profit financial experience, retail experience, experience running websites with the safest possible security standards for children.   But more than anything else, we need energetic grown-ups who are dedicated to helping these kids achieve their highest goals to help others.

If you can help with any of the above, please email volunteer@randomkid.org and let us know how you can help.

Please consider making a financial contribution. RandomKid can really use your help. So far, we have run on 100% volunteer effort.  That's right.  ZERO overhead.  But RandomKids across America want more from us now.  More ways to interact on our site, more resources to tap into to make the world a better place.  We need your financial support to make that happen.  Money you contribute will go toward providing tools for Random Kids to use to achieve their goals (like those highlighted in our Random RockStar Hall of Fame). It will be used to grow our website, expanding the technology so that we may quickly match RandomKids with RandomBenefactors. It will pay for future staff to ensure that RandomKids across the country are given logistical support in making their plans come to fruition.  And just wait until all the other cool things we have in store to help RandomKids realize their true power for good!  To make a financial contribution, please click here. RandomKid is an Iowa 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, and 100% of your contribution is tax deductible.
