Send your DVDs Overseas!

It's EASY and you don't have to ask anyone for money!
Three Simple Steps
1. Collect Used/New DVDs.
2. Ship them out. (postage will be paid!)
3. Feel GREAT about supporting our troops!
GET STARTED: All you have to do is click here to email Zach and he will have DVD collection boxes shipped to you (so be sure to include your address)! He will also give you some easy ideas for collecting lots of DVDs for the troops. The DVDs don't have to be new, so just ask people to donate movies they’re no longer interested in watching (how many times can you watch the same movie anyway?). Collections can be small or large – every bit helps! If you do not want to collect money to cover the shipping costs, AMVETS, Operation DVD will cover the shipping – so all you need to do is spread the word and wait for the boxes to fill up. It’s that easy!
Zach's Goal = 140,000 DVDs to be collected by kids across the USA, one for each serviceperson stationed in Iraq as a symbolic gesture of support.
(The DVDs will be shipped to other service personnel in other countries, too.)
Just think - if only 10 – 15 kids from each of the 50 states collected 250 DVDs (enough to fill just one collection box!), we could easily meet that goal! Imagine
all the smiles we can bring to the faces of our soldiers!

More about AMVETS, Operation DVD:
- This is an appeal to patriotic Americans to donate their new and used DVDs which will then be shipped to our fighting men and women overseas.
- Operation DVD is an official program of AMVETS (a nationally chartered veterans organization in existence for over sixty years).
- “Children Titles” donated will be distributed to Servicepeople’s families (Stateside) through the Family Readiness Group with the assistance
of AMVETS.
